RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Thank you for visiting our website and online storefront. We hope you are happy with our products & services and want you to shop with 100% confidence. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us for a full refund or a free replacement. To deliver a hassle-free shopping experience, we follow the returns, refund and exchange practices of the top e-commerce marketplaces like Amazon & Flipkart.

RETURN ELIGIBILITY

  • A product will be eligible for return if the product is damaged, defective, has missing parts or accessories or different from the description on the product detail page.
  • A product will be eligible for return only if it is in new, unused and untampered condition, with all the original tags, labels, accessories and parts intact.
  • A product will not be eligible for return if it is exclusively marked as ‘non-returnable’ on the product detail page. In case you receive a ‘non-returnable’ product in a damaged or defective condition, kindly write to us at helpdesk@scholarart.com within 3 days of receiving the product.
  • A product may not be eligible for return in some cases, including cases of buyer’s remorse such as incorrect model, size or color of the product ordered or incorrect product ordered.

RETURN WINDOW

All eligible products can be returned within 7 days of delivery. The date of delivery is the date on which the product has been delivered to you, as per the ‘Proof of Delivery’ of the logistics partner. A return request will be generated only once you intimate us (by following the steps mentioned below) within the ‘Return Window’.

In case you fail to intimate us within the ‘Return Window’, you may write to us at helpdesk@scholarart.com or call us. However, we may refuse to accept/process your return in such cases.

RETURN PACKAGING

To ensure a smooth and fast pick-up and reverse shipping process, we kindly request you to take care of the following points while packaging and handing over the item:
  • All returned items must include the original proof of purchase (Sales Invoice) or the original proof of delivery (Shipping Label or Packing Label). These documents are generally placed in a plastic pouch, which is firmly & securely attached to the outer corrugated carton. In the absence of a valid proof of delivery, the return process might get delayed.
  • All returned items must be packed in the original factory packaging, or an equivalent transit-worthy packaging. Our logistics partners may refuse to pick-up the items if they are not packed properly. In such cases, we will have to request you to re-pack the item and a new pick-up request shall be scheduled. Hence, it is advisable that you do not throw away the packaging material unless and until you are sure that the item is correct and delivered in a good condition.

RETURN SHIPPING

  • All products/purchases that meet the eligibility criteria stated above will be picked-up and shipped at no extra cost i.e. you will not have to pay a return shipping fee while returning any such purchase.
  • All products/purchases that do not meet the eligibility criteria stated above may be picked-up and shipped at an extra cost i.e. you may have to pay a return shipping fee while returning any such purchase, subject to the acceptance of the return request in such cases.
  • At certain pin codes, a return pick-up may not be possible for our logistics partners. In such cases we may ask you to ship the product to our address directly, and reimburse the shipping fee to your account (up to INR 100).

RETURN PROCESS

To return an item, please follow the steps mentioned below:
  1. Login > My Account > My Orders > Select Order to Return > Select Order Item(s) to Return > Select Reason for Return > Upload Supporting Documents (If Required) > Select ‘Refund’ or ‘Replacement’ Option > Submit Return Request. Please provide clear and accurate information for faster processing of returns.
  2. As soon as you submit the return request, our team will be notified of it. We will then evaluate your request based on the information you’ve submitted and approve the request if it meets the eligibility criteria specified above. If required, our customer service executives may get in touch with you (via e-mail or phone) to request additional information. All return requests are processed (accepted or rejected) within 2-3 days.
  3. Once the return request is approved, our team will schedule a reverse pick-up from your address. All reverse pick-ups are generally completed within 3-7 days.
  4. Once the return parcel is picked-up, our logistics partners will ship it back to our address. All reverse shipments are generally delivered within 3-10 days.
  5. Once the return parcel is delivered, our team will initiate the refund or replacement process (basis your selection while returning the item), subject to the following conditions:
    • It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession.
    • It is determined that the product is not different from what was shipped to you.
    • It is determined that the product is returned in original, unused and untampered condition with original packaging, labels, tags, parts and accessories therein.
  6. If you are unable to raise a return request from your account or if you feel your request was rejected incorrectly, please write to us at helpdesk@scholarart.com or call us.

REFUNDS & REPLACEMENTS

After receiving your return and inspecting the product for the above mentioned conditions, we will process your refund or replacement (exchange). We will notify you by email (and update the ‘My Orders’ section in ‘My Account’) on when your return has been processed.

REFUNDS

  • If you selected the option of getting a refund while returning the order, we will immediately initiate a credit reversal (payment reversal) process.
  • We will notify you via email (and update the ‘My Orders’ section in ‘My Account’) on when your refund has been initiated.
  • In case of a single-item (single SKU) order, we will refund you the full amount of the order paid by you less reverse shipping charges, if any (based on the conditions stated above).
  • In case of a multi-item (multiple SKUs) order, we will refund you the total amount of the items being returned less reverse shipping charges, if any (based on the conditions stated above).
  • The refund amount will be credit reversed to the same bank account (or mode) which was used to make the payment while purchasing the product.
  • Since payment transactions involve the bank and the payment intermediary/payment gateway, the exact time for refund deposit to your account can not be committed. Generally, such transactions are executed in 3-5 days.

REPLACEMENTS

  • If you selected the option of getting a replacement (exchange) while returning the order, we will initiate a replacement order (just like a new order) within 2-3 days.
  • We will notify you via email (and update the ‘My Orders’ section in ‘My Account’) on when your replacement order has been placed/initiated.
  • The replacement order shall than be processed and shipped to you just like a new order and standard processing time, delivery time and conditions will apply as per our Shipping & Cancellation Policy.
